About

Custom Controls Company began in 1960 when Quentin V. Koecher saw a need for modern electrical controls for the process industries.

He began the business at his kitchen table, expanded to the garage, then moved to warehouse space in Southwest Houston in very short order.

In 1994 Quentin Koecher retired and sold the business he created and operated for 34 years.  Today, our central plant is strategically located near the Port of Houston and Bush International Airport to serve our worldwide customer base.

Custom Controls continues to incorporate the cutting-edge technologies that led to its founding.  What makes Custom Controls Company unique is its innovative products concentrated in hazardous location and industrial-level heating, air conditioning and ventilation units.

Based on 50 years of experience, our Sales and Engineering departments are able to create economical design solutions to meet a wide variety of custom applications tailored to your individual project.
